Privacy Policy

The short version

Race Pace Predictor runs entirely in your browser. The calculations happen on your device, and the values you enter are never transmitted to or stored on a server.

Saved races and sign-in

Saved races are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. Signing in is optional. If you choose to sign in with Google, your saved races sync to a private record tied to your account so you can reach them on another device, and nothing more. You can sign out or delete saved races at any time.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which features are used and to fix problems. This collects anonymous usage events (such as page views), never the contents of your inputs.

Advertising

This site is free and supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads, and in some regions you will see a consent prompt about this. You can read how Google uses data on its policies pages. If you would rather not see ads at all, you can remove them for a small amount, and the ad scripts will not load for you.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage to remember your preferences and saved races on your device. Beyond the advertising cookies described above, we do not set our own tracking cookies.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Optional sign-in and saved-race sync use Firebase Authentication and Firestore. Standard server logs may record requests for security and reliability, and fonts are served by Google Fonts.
